Usually we hear our Android-owning friends bemoaning the unfair ratio of cool apps available to them versus iPhone users. But they always had one awesome advantage: The free Android app of the week. Now it looks like the Apple app store has finally caught up with Amazon Market and is offering their own free weekly app for iPhone and iPad.
It started with Cut the Rope Experiments (now back to $.99) and now you can still catch the Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing app for free through Wednesday, since it looks like new free apps are announced on Thursdays.
