Let’s just imagine that I’m standing on a street corner, chatting with a friend on my Android phone and suddenly she says “Hey, let’s go to Paris this weekend, stay in an reasonably-priced hotel, eat at some fabulously-reviewed restaurant and send pictures to all our friends so that they’ll be pea-green with jealousy.” This sort of request/demand from a mildly obnoxious imaginary friend used to send Android users scampering home to their laptops, but thanks to the new app from past Cool Mom Tech reco Gogobot, all the facets of planning a trip can be done right there on the imaginary street corner with your very real phone.

The wildly popular social trip planner Gogobot has recently extended its considerable reach into three new areas; real-time hotel price checking/booking, an integration with OpenTable so users can check out restaurants they might enjoy and book a reservation, and the coolest of all, a partnership with Google Street View, which means you can get a 360 degree view of the location of the hotel, restaurant, bar, or tourist-y spot you’re considering.

Add this to Gogobot’s already amazing scope of insider tips on 60,000 destinations worldwide, and you’ve got some serious one-stop reservation shopping power right there on your little Droid.

Oh, and once you’re actually on the trip, you can turn all your enviable moments into photographs to send to your real or imaginary friends back home, even adding filters and titles like “Are you jealous yet?”-Shari
