Being a total Prime junkie who likes getting the most out of my membership (hello, free shipping + Transparent!) I was excited to learn that now Prime members will get exclusive access to free streaming PBS Kids series.
Then I realized oh shoot, my kids have outgrown those series by now. But if yours haven’t, you’re in luck.
Basically, Amazon Prime Video will be the only place to find every kids’ favorite streaming PBS series like Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Sesame Street, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts, Martha Speaks, WordGirl, and our own favorite, Reading Rainbow — so don’t look for them on Netflix or Hulu.
You can access any of the shows right through your computer or mobile device at amazon.com/primevideo or just use the Amazon Video app on a smart TV or streaming device like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or even your gaming system. (We use our PS4 in the living room.)
If you’re not a Prime subscriber but you are an Amazon FreeTime Unlimited subscriber — surely there are one or two of you out there — then fear not, you can stream Mr. Rogers to your heart’s content, too.
The best part is that in addition to streaming, you’ll be able to download episodes to watch offline, so you can load up the tablets for family road trips and plane rides and skip the exorbitant pay-per-view rates in the hotel room.
And with that, the battle of the streaming entertainment services continues.
