It’s no surprise that Amazon has jumped on the STEM for kids bandwagon given its popularity as of late (and hey, hooray for that). Back in 2015, they launched their STEM toys and games shop, and now, they’ve got STEM Club, a gift subscription service for kids, which might just be a smart way to get friends and family to gift your kids cool educational toys.

Shoppers simply pick an age range, then the first gift hits their mailbox in under a week, all for $19.99/month and free shipping, which is a pretty affordable gift idea on its own, though pricey depending on how long you decide to sign up for.

I’m thinking it could be a great suggestion for friends and family (hello, grandparents) who are always asking what to get your kids, though it’s unclear what toys will actually be sent out. If they’re pulling from their STEM toys and games shop, you’ll be getting some pretty stellar options, but I know I’d like to see what I’d be sending out (or at least, the types of toys that would be gifted) before I purchase.

Also, the 8-13 age range is pretty wide. I’m quite certain my near 13-year old would not necessarily want to play with something my 8-year old would choose.
