In my now six year tenure as a parent, I’ve learned you should never say never. So while I can say with confidence that I will never purchase a wipes warmer, since using the new Phillips Avent digital video baby monitor, I’m now eating a few of my words about video baby monitors.
To be fair, this cool digital video baby monitor is much different than some of the
heftier models I’ve seen (and admittedly, joked about), thanks to
awesome technology and convenient portability. You won’t be stuck staring at a big blurry screen in one room of your house; instead, just plug the sleek camera near your baby’s crib, then take
the super clear digital screen with you from room to room.
The monitor features both day and night vision, along with a music button that allows you to
pop on a few tunes to soothe the baby–albeit electronic-sounding ones, so I use that term loosely. This is not a surrogate Mp3 player for sure.
As someone with children who will often cry for a few minutes or rustle around for a lot longer before going back to sleep, the Phillips Avent video monitor
has saved me from that never-ending internal debate about whether I should go in and check on them and risk waking them up.
