If you’re looking for a fresh new song to play for your little sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, I have a gorgeously groovy new tune that has quickly worked its way into our hearts.
With a very 60’s sunshine-pop sound, Sandra Dedrick’s Love You is especially nice to hear on these decidedly less-sunshiny days when all the leaves are brown and the sky is gray.
Formerly the lead singer of 1960’s band The Free Design, whose sound influenced such modern names as Beck and Stereolab, Sandra Dedrick has such a pretty voice that becomes even more so when backed by the multi-layer harmonies that skip alongside her. There’s much to love about this song.
