The Hipwaders' The Books I Like to ReadThough I love to read to my kids any day of the year, I also plan to celebrate October’s National Book Month with some extra trips to the library and by okaying “just one more chapter, please” at bedtime.

That’s why I love this little tune, originally by kindie superstar Frances England, now remade to remind us all that there is nothing quite like snuggling in to read a favorite story together.

The Hipwaders‘ remake of The Books I Like to Read is a peppy pop tune that covers off some of my kids’ all-time favorites like Goodnight Moon and Blueberries for Sal, along with some of my childhood picks like The Giving Tree
I think it’d be fun to download a copy and then vow to read all the titles mentioned before the month is out. Your kids may find some new number-one books to add to their bedtime reading rotation. –Christina

You’ll find The Books I Like to Read by the Hipwaders on their two-song EP at CD Baby.
