Do you change your laptop bag with the change of seasons? I happen to tote my MacBook everywhere, which means I’m increasingly less satisfied with the big, black, clunky case I’ve been living with all winter. Especially now that spring is here and a girls’ mind turns to accessories. (Or is that just me?)
I am super happy to have discovered the collection of checkpoint-friendly laptop bags from Bobarra, which are as practical as they are fashionable, and definitely calling my name.
The east end laptop tote is adorable this time of year–it would look perfect with the blacks and neutrals I tend to wear, but the camel colored canvas exterior definitely rescues me from winter. What’s particularly smart about it is that it’s got an internal sleeve that pops right out, to help speed you frequent travelers through the TSA lines.
The Lady Lindy laptop bag is more bohemian-chic in this Saigon print, but I adore all the thoughtful pockets and padding. It even comes with a smart quart-size pouch so you can flip your liquids to the outside of the bag in a snap and fly through security. (Although I’m not convinced I want to keep liquids near my laptop, knowing me.)
For those of you who can’t step away from the black, I also like the Lady Lindy black laptop bag which has a canvas exterior, but a flouncy detailing that feels more feminine than the standard Apple Store fare.
All these bags are designed just for Apples, and fit 11-13″ models. But I am sure that they won’t kick you out of the club should you be toting around your Dell or your HP in there. -Liz

Hard question for your smart ladies, is there a laptop backpack that isn’t totally lame? I like to be hands-free. I have the tiny Mac, so I don’t need a lot of storage space.
Have you seen this one Heather? We’d categorize it under “not lame”
