I’m not sure about you but I think I win the award for most keys lost. Well that’s all about to change thanks to this amazing new technology.
The August Smart Lock is actually safer than keys, and gives you access to any place that you have the lock installed with your smart phone. But even cooler, it gives you control over who has access as well.
Once you install the lock on your door, which slips over the interior portion of your door (not major hardware required!), the lock will sense your approach and open automatically. Whoa! And there’s no WIFI required because the lock uses bluetooth technology and battery power, alerting you when it’s time to change them.
What’s cool, aside from the fact that you don’t have to worry about losing your keys, is that you can give certain people access only when they need it, like your friends for a playdate or your housecleaner for their scheduled visit every other week.
Plus, you can check a log to see who’s been in and out and when, right on your smart phone. Pretty amazing. -Kristen
