Along with doing what we can to support the people still struggling in Oklahoma after tornadoes struck recently–and then again just this weekend–we’ve also been doing what we can to reassure our kids that they are safe and protected, even when scary things happen. And now there is a song by long-time favorites, the Sugar Free Allstars that not only benefits the people of Oklahoma, but reminds our kids of this very important message.
Borrowing words from childhood icon, Mr. Rogers, (Look for the) Good People tells our kids that there will always be someone to come to their aid in difficult times. As a fellow resident of Oklahoma, lead singer Chris “Boom!” Wiser passes on this important message with the accompanying sounds of his Hammond B-3 organ, and with Rob “Dr. Rock” Martin on drums.
Having pulled this song together in just days after the tragedy, the Sugar Free Allstars are donating 100% of the proceeds to the American Red Cross of Central and Western Oklahoma.
