As I pack up my family for a trip to Orlando and some of its finest theme parks, it seems fitting that today would happen to be National Roller Coaster Day. Especially since my kids can’t stop talking about which loopy, speedy, hands-in-the-air coaster they can’t wait to try. And whether or not you who have kids like mine, or if they’re perfectly happy to watch the action from the safety of terra firms (like me!), we’ve got a great tune from Cool Mom Picks’ favorite kindie band from South Carolina, Lunch Money.
Aptly named Roller Coaster, Molly Ledford of Lunch Money challenges listeners, asking them whether they’re just “big boasters” or will actually ride the roller coaster, while the band’s guitar and bass keep things humming along as you go up and up and up.
It’s a great tune for families with young kids, even if not every one of them is brave enough for that triple loop ride.
And that would be me.
In celebration of National Roller Coaster Day, download a copy of Lunch Money’s Roller Coaster off their 2004 release Silly Reflection.
