Just yesterday, more details about the new Atari VCS (formerly called Ataribox) were released. And while there’s still not a ton available in terms of the hardware and software, we do know that it has 4K resolution, HDR and 60FPS content, as well as various storage options. You’ll also get the Atari Vault, which will feature over 100 classic games.
If your hands are sweating just thinking about playing Space Invaders again, you’re going to have to wait to get your hands on one of these consoles. Pre-sales will start exclusively on Indiegogo on May 30, 2018, with the consoles not shipping until 2019. Ack! So, start saving your money now ($199 to be exact, for a limited time), and mark your calendar.
