So the name Proust seems appropriate for a new website designed to help people share their stories with family and close friends and to learn more about them in return.
Proust.com is like the social network meets the family tree. The concept is to exchange the details of your personal history with the ones you love who might not know all the little particulars about what has made you who you are today. Things like, if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Or what love song makes you the most teary eyed?
While it is a very fun premise and the site is beautifully designed, I have to say it will take a very committed leader in a family with an open schedule to make the most of it. You really will have to invest a decent amount of time to answer the individual questions thoroughly and to rally your family into doing the same. But if all that happened, it could definitely become a nice family record.
