Now that we’ve open the last book in our advent calendar, I get to deflect the When is Santa coming? questions all day long. But now I can just pop the kids in front of my computer for a little geography lesson as they track St. Nick’s travels around the world.
If you’re not familiar with NORAD’s amazing site, prepare to be wowed.
NORAD Tracks Santa comes from the US + Canada’s actual North American Aerospace Command which is pretty cool in itself. When they’re not busy defending our airspace, they spend each December helping us keep up with all of Santa Claus’s stops around the world on Christmas Eve day and night.
Just head over to their site and watch as Santa hits various points around the globe. It even syncs
up with Google Earth, making for a super interactive experience.
And if you’ve got any non-believers in the house, this might just be the way to change their mind. -Kristen
