Even on years when the kids have to wear snow boots for the egg hunt, Easter has always felt like the start of spring. So my pick this week is a perfectly-timed song off of Frances England’s much-loved 2008 release, Family Tree.

The gentle acoustic guitar picking along with Frances England’s pretty voice in Spring Has Sprung will get you in the mood with lines about scenes like “the mama cow nuzzles her little baby calf / and the trees find their leaves at last”.

Oh sure, I know better than to pack away the winter coats just yet, but on this Easter Sunday, I can listen to this song and know that spring isn’t too much farther away.

Download a copy of Spring Has Sprung from our affiliate Amazon. You can hear the song in its entirety at Frances England’s website.
