If your Facebook page is hardly recognizable now with all those sponsored posts, unfiltered feeds and frankly, status updates from people you don’t need to hear from every hour on the hour, then a neat plug-in I just found may be just what you need.
Social Fixer (which used to be called Better Facebook) is a tool that gives you more customization options and control over what you see on your Facebook feed.
It is available as an add-on for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera and a couple other browsers and really is a quick and easy solution for customizing Facebook more to your liking. Which, honestly, couldn’t we all use these days?
After you install the plug-in, you simply go to your Facebook page and then you can do things like add tabs, filter your feeds, track new comments, hide posts you’ve already read, track who has unfriended you (if you’re a masochist), navigate your profile easier and more. And no, it doesn’t give you the option to unfriend without the person ever finding out. To do that, you’ll have to go through the traditional Facebook way to unfriend and then, just don’t try to friend them again!
