Kids’ music download for this week’s Talk Like a Pirate Day: Pieces of 8ight

This Thursday marks that esteemed international holiday, Talk Like a Pirate Day. Ha!

So to get you landlubbers ready to Ahoy or Arrrr with the best of them, I’ve dusted off one of my kids’ favorite treasures from those old deckhands, Captain Bogg and Salty.

From their pirate-themed 2005 release Pegleg Tango, Pieces of 8ight brings the fun of the high seas to your speakers with a rocking tune about the treasure every pirate hopes to find.

And don’t miss one of my favorite music videos for this song where a band of rowdy pirates becomes substitute teachers for one stunned (and adorable) classroom of kids.
