Now that it’s getting to where can crack our window to let in some fresh air without freezing us all out, I am in full scale spring cleaning/redecorating mode. Even my old MacBook is feeling a little dowdy these days–which only has a little something to do with the permanent children’s fingerprints all over the screen and the dog hair poking out from beneath the keys.
A great idea to make your tech feel as springy as you’re starting to feel: Jazzing up the wallpaper.
I am so happy to have discovered the Marimekko-plentiful Always Mod website, with a whole category of free desktop wallpapers, all from the Finnish company’s iconic textile design. It’s a simple way to bring a little spring into your tech, without sporting for a whole new home office. And all it costs you is a cute little Always Mod bug at the bottom right of the screen.
Of course if you’re so inclined, the shop also offers lots of Marimekko home office accessories, from mouse pads to throw pillows, each of which makes me very very happy. -Liz
