I am a Blackberry-aholic and I will NEVER give it up, but I carry an iphone JUST for the apps, in particular this one: Red Laser. When I first heard about it, I thought the founders must have been reading my diary. It scans bar codes and tells you where an item can be bought, near you, online, anywhere!
How I use it: I bring it into dressing rooms when I am shopping and scan the barcode of the item I am interested in buying to make sure that I am getting the best price, and that if I post it on shopafrolic.com, I recommend the retailer offering the best deal. I also use it to find an item in my particular size/color, if the store I am in is sold out.
