Along with some early spring cleaning, I’ve decided to beautify my desk a wee bit with a fresh new look for my laptop. The wallpaper I’ve chosen is definitely for the birds. And that’s a very cool thing.
Created by the Philadelphia illustrator, Eleanor Grosch, these free wallpaper designs include everything from birds, crabs and ‘gators, as well as some cool bicycle designs. I’m going to ignore the dandelion design since my lawn will have plenty of those already in another month, but it’s lovely nonetheless.
Reminiscent of the art of Charley Harper but with a graphically interesting twist, some designs would be perfect as “real” wallpaper in a child’s room (hint, hint).
But for now I’ll be content to see the cheerful bird shown at top every time I belly up to my laptop. -Christina
