Just when I had figured out how to spell Netflix’s new DVD service Qwikster, Reed Hastings announced today on the Netflix blog that they’re going back to their original service after all.

In the post, Hastings explained that two websites would be much too confusing (no kidding!), promising no more price increases and hundreds of new movies. In fact, they apparently just added over 3500 new television shows in the last few weeks.

While this might not sway us back to the DVD service that was on my list of things to cancel, I’m glad that Netflix took a cue from the consumers and decided against the split. Now here’s hoping they start streaming movies from this decade that I actually want to watch. -Kristen
