It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here, and it’s starting to sound that way too. Consider freshening up that tired holiday playlist with a lovely new collection of classic Christmas carols from none other than Dan Zanes himself.
Our family has adored Dan Zanes for the musical trips around the world he takes us on, but his latest downloadable EP, Christmas in Concord, harkens back to those Christmas classics that never grow old.
The five songs he’s chosen remind him of his Christmases spent in his hometown of Concord, New Hampshire and include a joyous Angels We Have Heard on High and a folksy It Came Upon a Midnight Clear—more the songs you might sing in Christmas morning church service than the Jingle Bells/Rudolph-type songs.
