For those of us who have organization and home decorating heavily on the brain this month (now I know I’m not the only one), I’m totally digging this fabulous media console from CB2.

The media console
by Mash Design Studio was clearly influenced by the Eames/Saarinen era.
It offers clean lines and the modern contrast of white oak veneer with a
high-gloss white track door. And the tip-proof hardware will be a
comfort to families with tots.

But what’s really cool is that the grid design of the door lets you keep
it closed to keep all those consoles and wires hidden, while the remote
can still work through the panel.

Or at least  5 out of 6 reviewers on the site say it works that way. The other one probably needs new batteries in the remote.

Not IKEA-cheap, but made to last. I bet two together would look amazing. –Liz
