Why is there Gentlemint? Well let me tell you a story.
A few nights ago, I found my husband perusing my Pinterest pins looking for gardening ideas. After several minutes of scrolling through knitting inspiration, this year’s hot pantone colors and ideas on how to decorate with pompoms, he’d had enough.
Maybe it’s the fact that not too many men are on Pinterest–or maybe this man just needs his own place to pin.
Enter, Gentlemint.
If there’s a Pinterest for men, this is it. Whether it’s a list of 1001 whiskeys to try before you die, a link to the machete used by Bear Gyrlls, 6 reasons to carry a handkerchief or an announcement of Doritos upcoming nacho-flavored taco shells, the site is a mix of high testosterone and high style. Perfect for the Urban Daddy audience.
The cool backstory: founders Brian McKinney and Glen Stansberry challenged themselves to create a website from start to finish in twelve hours. With Bourbon in hand and the concept to create a “manly social site,” Gentlemint was born. Within weeks the site was bursting at the seams with all kinds of man-spiration.
While I don’t get especially geeked out over storm troopers or handcrafted shaving tools Gentlemint may just become my gift-giving secret weapon.-Molly

Gentlemint is definitely bridging the gap here. When we interviewed Glen, he broke down exactly what men like to share online: “cars, bacon, Ron Swanson, bacon-flavored beer, shaving accessories, leather things, and bacon. Oh, and did I say bacon?” (https://manpacks.com/blog/2012/02/pinterest-gentlemint-interview-glen-stansberry).
Be sure to add those to your secret gift-giving list!
