Any other parents in denial that the school year is coming to an end? Summer vacation beckons and lots of trips to the beach, trips to Grandma and Grandpa’s, and trips in general are on the horizon. Yay! That said, the planning leading up to all that traveling can be hairy to say the least, especially for us primary packers.
If you’re a packing list kind of person, you’ll really like this super helpful app I recently discovered.
The Packing Pro app
offers the best of both worlds when it comes to packing, either letting
you check off items that you need from its extensive existing lists, or creating your own packing list from scratch. Of the
pre-made lists, there are different categories like Clothes,
Accessories, Gadgets, Babies, Kids and more that pretty much cover the
gamut of what you’d need. Even baby’s sock monkey. (Really.)
In addition to the handy packing lists, I like that there’s even a “Pre-Trip To Do” section that offers handy reminders like take out garbage and set up email autoresponder. And if you don’t find the exact reminders you need, you can customize each category or
each item however you want. Helpful if there are must-have
travel items like your dog’s medicine or your kiddo’s lamb blanket.
