We just couldn’t let the weekend go by without sharing this amazing Mr. Rogers video with you. If you’re like us, then you grew up with Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood on your old remote-less television. Ah, those were the days!

Trust us, this cool, inspiring video is worth the watch, if only to try to figure out how they made it. But if you loved him like we did, make sure to have the tissues close by.

  1. In my earlier life I worked in the performing arts community. It brought me in contact with many “famous” people. More often than I wished these encounters were less than exciting. The only time I was moved was meeting Mr. Rogers. Someone brought him unannounced into my office and when I turned around I literally teared. When he learned had a 3 year old, he was sweet enough to arrange to meet her as well.
I’ve rarely meant anyone as genuinely kind as Fred Rogers. Thank you for posting this enjoyable reminder of such a remarkable gentleman.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing that story Michelle. How lucky you are to have such a wonderful memory. We would have teared up too. W
