With an iPad and a Kindle Fire in the house and a husband who likes to take one with him on work trips, I love finding apps for kids that my own children love that are available for both iOS and Android. Well, I was in luck with Pepi Bath, a fantastic app we featured a while ago on Cool Mom Tech, and apparently, I hit the lottery again with Pepi Play’s newest release that’s perfect for preschoolers.
The new Pepi Tree app is quite similar in design to another favorite app from a different developer, Toca House. In this case, however, instead of a house with people, the Pepi Tree app features all sorts of different animals and creatures on different levels of the tree.
Once you download the app, your preschooler can scroll up and down the tree to pick their activity, whether it’s a caterpillar eating a leaf (and then turning into a butterfly), or an owl spotting other nocturnal creatures in a fun matching game. And while there aren’t a ton of activities in this app, the music is catchy, the graphics are fabulous, and it’s fun and cool enough that I didn’t mind dropping a couple of bucks.
You can download Pepi Tree on iTunes or for Android on Google Play for free, but expect in-app purchases now.
