If you haven’t yet seen adventurer, motorcyclist, and GoPro user Alex Chacon’s 3 Year Epic Selfie video, grab the kids for a 3-minute viewing party and get ready to stir up some strong feelings of wanderlust as you watch clips from his 600 days of travel around the world. And while his photos make me want to add some stamps to our passports, it’s the upbeat and joyful song that goes with the video that has me smiling every time I hear it.
A Beautiful Life by Tim McMorris is a song about appreciating the world around us, with a chorus I can’t stop singing in my head. It gets me not only excited for our family’s summer travel plans, but also makes me appreciate how pretty my own neighborhood looks on this fine spring day while my kids ride their bikes up and down the street.
