Have a kid who loves odd little factoids about everything and anything? National Geographic has been putting out “Weird But True” compilations in book form for years, but now they’re bringing the wackiness to the iPhone, and it’s more fun than ever.

Whether it’s the fact that mountain lions can whistle or that the Leaning Tower of Pisa was leaning even before they finished building it, thousands of items make for hours of weird entertainment. Shhh, don’t tell them it’s educational.
