If you’re not a fan of the Google doodles by now…well. We don’t know what. The bar is so high that now if you go to the main Google.com site and it’s not actively playful or snowing or clickable, you’re kind of disappointed.
Doodle 4 Google is Google’s yearly art contest for kids, and this year’s prizes are better than ever. Children from Kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to submit their doodle on the topic, “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…” And one lucky winner receives a $30,000 college scholarship, a trip to New York, $50,000 for their school to start a computer lab or technology department, and techy bragging rights forever. Since their doodle will be on the front page of Google on May 18, 2012.
