Last year's winning Doodle by Matteo LopezIf you’re not a fan of the Google doodles by now…well. We don’t know what. The bar is so high that now if you go to the main Google.com site and it’s not actively playful or snowing or clickable, you’re kind of disappointed.

Here’s one Google doodle that will never disappoint: the one drawn by your kid.

Don’t giggle. With Doodle 4 Google, it could happen. And your kid could win a oodles of cash, too.

Doodle 4 Google is Google’s yearly art contest for kids, and this year’s prizes are better than ever. Children from Kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to submit their doodle on the topic, “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…” And one lucky winner receives a $30,000 college scholarship, a trip to New York, $50,000 for their school to start a computer lab or technology department, and techy bragging rights forever. Since their doodle will be on the front page of Google on May 18, 2012.

It’s easier to enter than before: just print the official entry form, fill it out, doodle for Google on the second page, and mail it in by March 23. Doodlers, start your search engines! ~Delilah
