Lasko MyHeat personal heaterNow that winter is here in the northeast, at least according to the thermometer, we’ve been turning to our trusty space heaters to compensate for the rooms that neat a little more oomph when the mercury drops. Now there’s one that’s perfect for small spaces and you know? It’s nice that it’s easy on the eyes.

For a sweet little affordable, compact heater that keeps up with your decor, check out the MyHeat Personal Heater from Lasko. It comes in glossy colors like orange, blue, purple black and white but other than that, it’s beyond basic: just an on-off switch and a very small footprint (it’s 6″
high and 4.3″ wide). In fact the “diagram” in the instructions made me giggle: It’s only a line pointing to the power button and indicating on/off.

Easiest tech manual ev-vah.

Lasko MyHeat Personal HeaterPersonally, I’m  finding perfect for my nighttable, when I want a bit more warmth than whats-his-name who prefers blankets to heat. But it’s also smart idea for desks, for a bathroom (hate chilly floor tiles in the morning!) or to warm a small child’s room from a bookshelf out of reach. Speaking of which, you don’t want to put your palm on the coils for ten minutes, but the the outer casing does stay pretty cool, which is reassuring for a mama. -Liz
