We were smitten with the Red Rover app even before it came so hugely popular, but even good apps have room for improvements. Which is exactly what we think has happened with their new upgrade that should make a lot more parents take a look.
If you’re not familiar with Red Rover, it’s a super smart app that allows you to invite people from all your pre-existing contact lists and create your own mini social network so you can schedule impromptu meet-ups with ease. The 2.1 version makes everything faster, more streamlined and well, cuter–thanks to the addition of emoticons.
You know. 🙂
You’ll notice a few other changes as well, most prominently the ability to notify friends and
discuss any place from the main tab,. I also like that it’s now easy to share info with multiple friends at once. But really, the best part of Red Rover is that because it allows you to connect with your other parent friends (and their kids) without the long email trails and extensive planning, you don’t have to beg your friends to download it so that you’re all on the same digital page.
If you’re a busy mom, this one is really a no-brainer. -Kristen
