I have been told by various people that various planets are in retrograde, which evidently explains why all of my favorite sites have been going down this week. Including Twitter. Of course without Twitter, how the heck was I going to go on Twitter to ask, “Hey everyone, is Twitter down?”

Ah, the challenging problems of life in the age of the Internet.

Fortunately there’s a site that helps with this very thing.

Aptly named IsItDownRightNow.com,
all you do is type in the url of the site that’s giving you errors or
refusing to load. The service will check the website’s servers and let
you know right away–you guessed it–whether it’s down.

Definitely worth a bookmark. Provided Is It Down Right Now doesn’t ever go down. –Liz
