When I use instant messaging services and have all windows open at once, it gets a little complicated at times to keep up with AIM, MSN Messenger, Gchat and Skype messages that are all coming at me at the same time. (I swear, it’s not just that I’m popular!) If you’re on more than one social media network (ahem) I’ve found a great website and app that can be your go-to for staying organized.

Imo Messenger helps you consolidate all those IM accounts into one streamlined placed, kind of like TweetDeck for instant messages.

Once you register for an account, you can enter in the various aliases and user names you have for a services like MSN, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, Facebook, AOL Instant Messenger and more.

Staying organized with all your chats, groups, and buddy lists becomes wildly easier when everything is in one place. Even pictures you’ve sent, a search of chat history, and group messanging that you can track on each platform. And while there’s a social functionality that lets you “meet” other Imo members, if you choose–eh. Really, the point of this is to get all your IM ducks in a row.

For instant messaging on the go, it’s good to know Imo also has mobile apps for iOS, Android and Blackberry, making it easy to talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Happy 21st century everyone.

Imo Messenger is a free service and can be used via its website or its mobile apps.
