The Honest Company, Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan’s awesomely pure baby company we’ve loved featuring on Cool Mom Picks has gone from organic to high-tech with its new mobile app. And it is as good as we expected.
The new HonestBaby mobile app provides new parents with a great digital way to keep up with your newborn’s growth and development. All the basics are covered, like tracking feedings, diapers, and sleep cycles, but I also like the extras like the ability to document growth and doctor’s appointments. (You know, the stuff sleep-deprived parents can be a little weak on?)
The interface is clean and simple, just like the overall brand, and I love how everything is represented with easy-to-guess icons, like a ruler to track growth, a bottle for feedings. Clearly they understand that we new moms need all the help we can get at three in the morning.
But the real benefit of the app comes to existing Honest Company members who can keep track of their accounts, product subscriptions, order status and more directly from the app. When you have placed an order, you can get alerts in the app to let you know that your diapers or bath wash or laundry detergent are on the way.
Better yet, while you’re nursing and entering in baby’s feeding times, you can kill two birds with one stone and order those organic diapers too. I’m all about multitasking. –Jeana
