A few years ago, you could spot someone wearing a big, black, rubber band-looking fitness tracker a mile away. I’m so happy that fashion has integrated its way very nicely when it comes to wearable tech, and I’m especially thankful for designers who are getting in the game now from Tori Burch to Swarovski. The latest to throw a hat into the ring: Jonathan Adler whose whimsical use of color, pattern design is giving a stylish upgrade to the original Garmin Vivofit fitness tracker.
I’m a fan of Adler’s — his geometric print iPhone case is even encasing my phone now. So I’m really happy to see this exclusive Jonathan Adler for Garmin Vivofit series, and just in time for the holidays too.

Three different patterns are available — Newport, Palm Beach and Waikiki — each in a trio of colors so you can swap them out to match your wardrobe. What a cool gift for any stylish fitness buff, or for a new mom who needs a little extra motivation to get back in shape.
(We’ve all been there.)
To be clear, this is a $40 set of bands you add onto an existing Vivofit, or you can get a set of two bands plus the Vivofit for $120. I’d say that’s a pretty decent price to pay for keeping motivated to keep the wearable on. Fashion accessory aside, isn’t that kind of the point?
The Jonathan Adler series for Garmin Vivofit can be found on his website. Each designer set is $40 and comes with three bands.
