In case you were wondering, there will be 230 new emojis hitting your phone in 2019, and we’ve got the scoop. From more gender inclusive couples to people with disabilities, we’re excited to see a lot more diversity, and let’s be honest, a lot more silly. (Yes I used silly as a noun).
You’ll a bunch of new animals, including a Sloth (Kristen Bell will be excited!), as well as more food items. Phew, I had been missing that juice box option all these years, so apparently 2019 is my year. Ha. And those of you super into axe throwing, they’ve got you covered as well.

But really, the big news, well for us, anyway, is the emojis that allow for more inclusive coupling (for LGBTQ and bi-racially-coupledfriends), as well as people with disabilities; you’ll notice wheelchairs, guide dogs, even prosthetic limbs. We’re so glad to see all of these because as we’ve said many times before, representation really matters.
