With so many of us celebrating the holidays far away from our friends and family, we thought it would be helpful to put together some ideas on how to connect with them virtually this holiday season, which for us means: games! On this episode of Out-Tech Your Kids, we’re sharing our favorite games that work really well over Zoom, Facetime, Google Meet… you get the idea.

You can listen right now, and then be sure you’re a podcast subscriber so you never miss an episode. You can also join our Out-Tech Your Kids Facebook group to ask your tech questions and chat about all things digital parenting. We’d love to have you.

Games to play over Zoom | Out-Tech Your Kids ep 19

5 awesome games that you can play over Zoom

Trivial Pursuit: Everyone will need a box of cards, but other than that, this is a great game to play over Zoom.

Punderdome: This is perfect for the family who loves puns. Who are the people who don’t love puns?!

Psych: Everyone needs to download this app on their phone, then try to fool people with their fake answers. It’s one we play all the time.

It’s in the Bag: This game is like charades on crack. Such a fun game for all ages.

Apples to Apples: Think of this like a very light, very kid-friendly version of Cards Against Humanity. What we love about this is that it’s not really competitive. It’s just silly fun.

Here are more games you can play over Zoom, in case you want other options.
