I admit that when I read about World Health Organization report that cell phone use can possibly cause cancer, I got a little bit worried. Before you panic, it’s important to know that no adverse health effects have actually been established. And really, there’s radiation everywhere. Hello.

So I’m not going to freak out and retire my cell phone altogether, but I’m taking it as a sign to be a little more mindful about my cell phone use, and perhaps think about other ways I can use it.

Here are three cool products that make cell phone radiation one less thing to worry about.

Pong Case

These iPhone and Blackberry cases are designed to reduce the amount of electromagnetic radiation absorbed by your head by up to 95%, using a micro-thin antenna module.  As a bonus–they’re pretty, too.

Jabra Bluetooth Speakerphone

If you make calls from your car, then a bluetooth speakerphone is a good choice and we happen to love the ones from Jabra. You can attach it to your visor allowing you to keep your phone off your ear and better, your eyes on the road. And if you use your cell phone as a home phone, it’ll work there too, keeping the actual phone further from your head.

POP Phone Handset

Go back in time with the POP phone handset. They’re quirky, cool, and they’ll keep your phone away from your head.

  1. I love that pong case!!! …and happy they make them for blackberry’s too since I’m the only person on earth that still uses one, hehe. I also love the TextHook smart phone holder (mom-invented) while I’m out for walks with the kids, etc. I just use it with my headset or on speaker. It secures my phone to the stroller, which is pure awesomeness for those moms on-the-go like me who always have our hands full 🙂
