I was just in the Vans store last week buying my daughter a new pair for summer, and of course today they launch their new Vans x Nintendo collection. I’m actually afraid to show them to my video-game loving daughter because you guys, these are pretty damn rad.
They’ve definitely got a couple of girlier patterns featuring Princess Peach (surprise), but overall they’re pretty gender neutral with something for every Nintendo lover, leaning more heavily towards Super Mario and Mario Kart. And hey, we know plenty of boys who dig Peach, so we’re glad Vans offers these as kids’ styles, not necessarily boys and girls.

They’re bright and fun (look at the bottoms!), and I have to say, I’ve been pretty impressed with how well the Vans in general hold up with my super active kids. See how I’m rationalizing another pair?
